Sally encouraged weavers to use vegetal dyes. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eSadly, the wide ruins trading post burned down in the 1970’s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eThe neighboring communities of Wide Ruins was known for a greater use of pinks and mauve where as Pine Springs rugs used more greens.  Both banded styles used natural, vegetal dyes to color the wool.
