Hot Off the Loom
Churro 1082 : 3rd Phase Style Chief Blanket woven by Louise Reed : 50" x 36"

Louise Reed is one of the weavers working exclusively with the Navajo Churro Collection Project.
Louise is a traditional Navajo Lady working on the traditional Navajo Loom. The photo above is taken on the Navajo Reservation at Canyon de Chelly, in Chinle Arizona.
This is a wonderful interpretation of a Navajo Chief's Blanket in a more affordable price range and manageable size. This weaving will make a beautiful wall hanging or would display nicely as a compliment on the back of a couch.
Very nicely variegated red, brown and blue. The colors are all hand dyed to achieve this special affect. As with all of our weavings, this piece is guaranteed 100% to your liking upon personal inspection.
For more information or to order this weaving call 520-455-5020 or email steve@navajorug.com.
