Exhibit: 2016 - Painting With Wool

PAINTING WITH WOOL,  an historic event for Steve and Gail Getzwiller, as it is the second exhibit and sale at their own gallery.  A large turnout made it a great success and the gracious presence of Elsie Bia, Master Weaver, demonstrating at her loom, was the frosting on the cake.

The Exhibit displayed over 60 weavings, some historic and some contemporary.  It truly was an honor to present this body of work from the many Navajo Artists who contributed, known and unknown.  A catalog was printed to preserve the exhibit, as some pieces find new homes.  Steve and I were very pleased to have the opportunity to share these incredible weavings with the world.  The secret room at the rear of the gallery displaying Mason and Shriner imagery was a great success.

Many Master Weavers including: Berlinda Nez,  Cindy Nez, Cara Yazzie Gorman, Juanita Tsosie, as well as those that came before.  A very exciting show.... Open until January 4th 2017 - you will be surprised and pleased at the beautiful Art of the Navajo Weavers.
